Le cinéaste Henri Lanvern tourne un film dans les hautes régions de la Thaïlande, Un roi au dessus des nuages . Un soir, à la fin du tournage - c’était en juillet 1978 – il réunit son équipe et annonce qu’il part pour trois jours en repérages. Il ment, il part en fait à la rencontre d’un vieil ami de guerre, le Général Cao Ba Ky évadé d’un camp de rééducation communiste ![1]
